Despite the same title, the albums have some different/exclusive contents: UK 20 GREATEST HITS > Love Me Do appears in UK Fake Stereo, from Please Please Me LP > From Me To You and Lady Madonna, present only on the UK version, are both with slightly narrowed channels > She Loves You appears with the same ‘rebalanced’ Fake Stereo remix used in the UK Red Album 1973 > I Feel Fine features the rare ‘whispering intro’ present only in first copies of the UK Red Album 1973 > Day Tripper appears with the rebalanced variant of the US Stereo Remix, released first in the US Red Albums 1973 > We Can Work It Out and Hey Jude have channels slightly rebalanced US 20 GREATEST HITS > Love Me Do is the US fake stereo version, the same remix used in Introducing and The Early Beatles > She Loves You appears with a new Fake Stereo remix > Hey Jude unique version, shortened to 5:05. HELP! and RUBBER SOUL CANADIAN CD with 1965 ‘Original Remix’
In 1990, Capitol erroneously sent to Canadian label Disque Americ the original masters of Help! and Rubber Soul in place of George Martin’s 1986 new remixes, so it ended that the original 1965 Help!’s and Rubbers Soul’s remixes were put in commerce, 19 year before the release of the two Stereo bonus discs in the “Mono Box 2009”! These digital masters are slightly different from the bonus discs in the “Mono Box” because they directly came from the original 1965 masters, totally untouched and unaltered, with old-fashioned longer pauses between songs and without compression, glitches corrections or noise filters (as for the two 2009 remastered bonus discs) made by / fabrique par DISQUE AMERIC CANADA EA31 <011> C246439

THE U.S. ALBUMS: the remastered ‘Capitol unique mixes’
The U.S. Albums is a box set, released in 2014, containing what should have been the collection of 13 CD with the American albums. Most likely, considering the usual EQed and reverbed Capitol’s albums mastering -that sometimes got out of hand-, and, above all, the various US freaky ‘Fake-Mono’ (Type B), ‘Fake-Stereo’ (Duophonic), ‘Bouncing Mono’ and all that…, for almost every song, they unfortunately chose to use the modern remixes (‘international’ 1987 and 2009 Remasters) as source, instead of original mastertapes,. Nonetheless, in very few cases (but fortunately the most significant US ‘dedicated’ remixes) the original ‘historic’ Capitol’s unique US mixes were dusted off and newly remastered.
