COMPLETE STUDIO & HOME .RECORDINGS.

This PDF is an attempt to catalogue every circulating Beatles’ Studio and Home recordings (official and unofficial), from 1957 to mid '71, collating various lists, books and web resources in an eternal work-in-progress… It all started decades ago, from the great list “The Beatles Timeline” by Piero Carey: http://www.pierocarey.info/beatlestimeline/index.html to which another amazing chronological bootleg/outtakes list were added: “The Beatles Archives” by Bamiyan http://www.beatlesarchives.com/home.htm Later, the obtained maxi-list was further ‘upgraded’ inserting the ‘studio’ and ‘home’ parts of the extraordinary and indispensable Winn’s books, checking and updating everything. Meanwhile, other essential books were consulted: Lewisohn, Sulpy, Gottfriedsson, Unterberger, Hammack etc. etc. Chazz Avery’s marvellous website “The Beatle Source” was also essential for some parts https://www.beatlesource.com/bs/mains/index.html At some point I decided to ALSO insert all the Official stuffs, sourcing from the greatest and the best list ever made: “The Usenet Guide to Beatles Recordings Variation” (update 2014) by Brennan (and Daniels) https://www.friktech.com/btls/variants/BrennanVariationsGuide.pdf, to which, this list could be considered the ‘coloured’ and updated companion/compendium THE BEATLES - THE COMPLETE STUDIO (& HOME) RECORDINGS also comprises (almost) all the VIDEO releases’ (sound-tracks) (Movie, VHS, Laserdisc, DVD, Blu-Ray): an obscure subject that Winn and Brennan did not considered in-depth or disregarded The list comprises also EVERY collaboration, song for other and solo recordings between 57 -71 and an additional list of ‘beatlereunions’ between 1971 and 2019 It doesn’t include LIVE recordings (concerts, interviews), television / radio broadcasts, cinema / video appearance etc. etc. - with the exception of period 57-62, containing every available existing recording - and for some other particular events/recordings, with high historical prominence Due to space limitations the list shows very limited infos: for more details (and descriptions) refer to the works of Winn and Brennan Nevertheless the ‘’APPENDICES’’ section provides further information and contains lots of useful charts and tables. NOTICE: After the decline of the classic labels’ ‘’bootleg era’’, replaced by web-label, it has become more arduous to keep a ‘complete’ and ‘updated’ list. In addition to this, the enormous and continuously increasing number of fan-made works, shared on the web (MOGG, Isolations, OOPSed and Spectral demixes, remastered, restored, Mash-ups, etc.) makes problematic the whole idea or pretence of ‘completeness’. In fact this catalogue generally excludes fan-made works using 5.1 extractions or MOGG multitrack, namely categories such as ‘Fantasy’ or ‘Experimental’ remixes, Mash-ups, and in general all works not ‘replicating’ a ‘real’ unreleased recording. Anyway, the catalogue includes some top-quality fan-made works that PERFECTLY reproduce or reconstruct a ‘‘lost’’ or unreleased take/remix. In following pages more than 13.000 recordings are enumerated: the entire musical home & studio history of The Beatles across every published and unpublished recording… the corresponding content of 800 CDs: -with a minimum number of duplicated songs-
